[ Rapture is in her room and she can hear the shriek pretty darn well. So much that she practically stumbles out of her door to see what the commotion is. When she looks around, she notices that Sonia's door is open. ] Sonia? What's—

[ But she stops in the doorway, staring at the horse and slowly blinking. To be honest, she's witnessed stranger things so it's not that much of a huge surprise to her. Nevertheless, it takes her a moment to properly assess the situation. ] Is that a real horse?

[teenspirit]

Yes! She is my horse! And now she is stuck up here!

[ The horse looks really anxious, twitching where it stands. ]

[throe]

You got a horse as a prize? That's...

[ A crystal ball seems totally lame now that she knows she probably could have had Riot and/or Minx if Sonia can get a horse. She bitterly bites her tongue. ]

How are you even going to get it downstairs?

[teenspirit]

I... I do not know. She is strong, but I have never heard of a horse being made to walk down a set of stairs. I worry that she may hurt her ankles.

[throe]

Too bad we can't make her disappear and reappear outside.

[ She's just staying by the doorway. There is no way she would willingly go up to or be around a horse unless she has a reason, especially in a cramped room. ]

Maybe you can get Gundam to help you. I'm sure he doesn't mind being a knight in shining armor. It'll help him remember his past life.

[teenspirit]

I think he already knows that he is a knight... But you are right! He could help...

If Riot were here, he would have already calmed the creature and ridden away with the fair princess in his arms!

Buuut, I suppose only a knight instilled with the darkest of magick like Gundam can also handle a task as large as this. We can even summon the aura of the strongest spirits to ease the horses journey through this mansion.

[teenspirit]

[ Sighing dreamily. ]

You truly have all the answers, Miss Rapture. I feel much assured.

[ The horse takes several steps towards Rapture. ]

[ She's only been feet away from horses one time in her life and she was safely inside a carriage when she was. She's dealt with camels. Which are like horses with humps and longer necks.

If Riot can ride a horse, she can be in the same vicinity with one.

Very carefully she reaches out her hand... ]

Seems like they might have known from the beginning you were going to get a pony seeing as there are stables, but they're lacking horses.

[teenspirit]

[ Luckily the horse seems to be relatively friendly; it sniffs at her. ]

Ah, yes. It does make me wonder if this place was ever occupied before...

[throe]

Maybe they did, but maybe they got tired of it.

[ She touches her snout... barely with just the tips of her fingers. ]

Or maybe someone important died and they're trying to cover it up by slowly destroying the mansion! Unaware that more than just the spirits of past players haunt this manor...

[teenspirit]

[ The horse responds overenthusiastically, pressing her snout into Rapture's hand. ]

Past players... So you really think this has happened before... I do not want to believe it. How awful.

[ She's not surprised this horse is really into her, because who or what wouldn't be? She is going to keep petting the horse because it is very majestic. ]

Maybe Doris herself is even a past player. She's as trapped as we are, being forced to continue the game onward until the next winner takes her place!

[teenspirit]

Take her place? Then we may as well just give up now!

[throe]

The Stingers don't give up so easily. [ She pats the horse on the head, smirking. ] We play the game and win by our rules, wether they like it or not.

[teenspirit]

I would never want to be a host of this game!

[throe]

We don't have to. All we have to do is make our own luck and the rest will follow.

Everyone's playing the game in their own way, aren't they? Who's going to stop us from doing the same?

[teenspirit]

[ Sonia looks down at the ground, pausing thoughtfully. Then she looks up, smiling. ]

Rapture, although the others may assign you a bad reputation... You are a truly inspirational person.

[ There is nothing but warm sincerity in her voice when she says it. ]

[throe]

[ Doki doki... is this feeling... friendship? She's actually taken aback for a moment. ]

Well of course. [ She sighs. ] In these trying times, I think of what Riot would do and know... he wouldn't stand for something like this! None of us would. We've faced it too many times together, but we've always come out on top no matter what.

And when this is over, nobody will ever forget the Stingers. The Holograms and the Misfits will be left in the dust as nothing more but an embarrassment.

[teenspirit]

[ Yes!! It's friendship!! ]

Of everyone here, I am sure that you are most suited to survival. And everyone will hear your tale and be amazed by your strength! Superstardom is certainly on the way.

[throe]

[ What a strange feeling she's only felt once in her life before! It's magic! ]

You're right, but I won't be the only one. Do you really think I would let a Stingers fan like you suffer at the hands of another? Imagine... when you return to your country and how proud they will be! How proud Riot will be. You'll be the only person ever worthy of his highest honors! Jem will look like a cardboard cutout compared to your bravery and skills.

[teenspirit]

I... very much hope for a day when I can meet all of these people...! Thoughts of returning home... That's what is helping me through this place.

[throe]

Just think... [ She places one hand on the horses head and the other on Sonia's shoulder. ] Princess Sonia Nevermind and Rapture of the Stingers defeat the sadistic game runners without harming a single person! Bestowed by the talismans of my ancestry, your duty to royalty, and my wits... we'll be forever honored by both musicians, politicians, and commoners alike!

Oh, I could never handle being such a superstar!

It's a bit shocking at first, but you get used to it. You begin to learn that there is nothing better than being on stage with everyone watching you perform knowing how bewitched they are by your presence alone. It's the greatest feeling in the world!
