I am still not quite sure what the extent of his powers were, but when I dodged out of the way, he slammed into the ground and created some sort of shockwave. Because I threw my kunai at him at that moment, I could not brace myself against getting knocked into the wall - but along the same lines, he was likely too busy attacking to be able to defend himself. And even if he did not die immediately...he would not have been able to survive for long or continue fighting with a kunai in his throat. Perhaps he was angry because he could not do anything to save himself.

I am grateful to you all for trying, but I cannot see how more investigation will help. I was not out for that long, and it must have taken Mr. Gundam quite some time to set up the scene. He must have come across it soon after our battle and seen Beat's corpse. In which case...if there really was a third party, he would have seen them as well.
