You are saying that it is extremely unlikely for just those two to come away poisoned if alcohol was the delivery method, simply because there was no telling which bottles would have been selected by the targets or if anyone else would have accidentally imbibed some as well... Correct? That, and even a quick slip of poison likely would have been detected due to the high number of people...
