[ Score. Rapture awaits for Sonia to get the items and figures she can scheme into snatching a song for The Stingers to play. Of course, they're creative enough without having to do something like this, but this... this song has a special touch that she refuses to let go.

She remains seated, hands resting on the arms of the chair. ]

I'm ready whenever you are.

Thursday - 4:00 PM

[You're all doing very well finding the missing parts. On the other hand, body parts aren't the only things that are missing.

Has anyone seen Michael Altman today?]

[There is some vomit underneath one of the pillows.]

[these rooms seem to be relatively clean.]

[ She's fond of Altman, and considers herself a friend of his, so among all the commotion with the body parts, she realizes she hasn't seen one person in particular.

She goes up to Sapphire wing, and knocks on he door of room #4. ]

Michael? The terrible event has already occurred; you may come out now.

[Nothing stands out right away...]

[There's no answer.]

[ She manages to scrounge up a pencil and begins scribbling on the back of a music sheet.

A few minutes later she hands over this. ]

Um... for some reason international representatives do not like this song. I find it very patriotic. It is not subversive at all, if you ask me.

Sleepin' in at this hour is most un-gentlemanly!

[ She tries the handle to see if it's locked. ]

[It is.]

[ She stands in front of the door for a few moments, confused. Well... it's been a rough day; the temptation to lock herself in her own room has been pretty strong.

Still, she begins knocking and calling loudly. ]

Please come out!

There aren't that many of us anymore. Perhaps we could each take a tablecloth as bedding.

[On that note, Susan will nod and follow Lithuania out of the library. It was very disconcerting not being able to locate people anymore, but then... she'd simply have to find them on her own.]

[inthebones]

[Today was not one of Susan's finest days. In all the chaos and in the slight shock of losing her connectivity to souls, she had, well. ...There was a moment or two where if she hadn't lost her head, it had certainly threatened to momentarily misplace itself.

She had been able to recover herself, though, in the more relative calm of the afternoon, and as Sonia had, she had realized that there was one person she hadn't seen today running about like a headless chicken. As if on cue, she appears now as Sonia continues to knock.]

...He isn't responding? Have you seen him about the house at all today?

[teenspirit]

I have not. [ She goes pale. ] Haven't you? [ She is unaware that Susan has lost her ability. ]

[ She takes the paper and reads over the lyrics. It's hard to gauge her reaction, but she's inwardly surprised that... this is an anthem for Sonia's nation.

Of course, it's just a role and not the real thing. Regardless, the made up land of Novoselic certainly has unique and creative tastes. ]

It's so... different. Which means it's perfect! It'd be greater to have Riot's voice singing it, but we'll have to improvise. It's not like they took away my singing voice anyway.

Alright. [ She stands up and walks over to the piano to lean against it, eager to start. Finally, something worth doing around here! ] You wanna rehearse it?

[inthebones]

No.

[Susan shakes her head before realizing - ]

Oh. No, it isn't so concerning as that. The murderer has chosen to remove that particular aspect of me - I'm not altogether surprised.

...Perhaps he's somewhere out and about, though, avoiding this mess. I've seen him wandering the grounds on occasion.

[A slight frown.]

...Perhaps I should go ahead, anyway.

[teenspirit]

He does drink quite a lot; he may be hungover. We should rouse him.

WHAT'S A SOLDIER BOY KNOW ABOUT MUSIC

O~kay! I will cue you in, alright!

[ Sonia lifts her hands to begin playing. When it comes time to start singing, she'll nod. ]

[inthebones]

[Susan will nod before rapping once the door.]

Sonia and I are coming in, Mr. Altman. Do try to keep her suitable for marriage if you can.

[A hand held to the doorknob - click.

Susan pushes open the door.]

I think she'd probably be in the chapel, she often goes there...

[He diverts his attention from the bed and instead looks at the notebook on the desk. He contemplates opening it but decides against it with the hope that she might still be alive. It's not good to nose through other peoples things...]

[ oh boy... ]

[ Clyde is actually relieved by that, since he'd half expected to find a severed head hanging from the ceiling or something equally disgusting, but. He's not exactly trusting his luck, either. Once he's made his way into the cellar, he walks deeper to head towards the wine cellar, since he figures he'll start there and work his way back. ]

[ CUE OPENING GUITAR RIFT ]

[ She taps a finger against the top of the piano to gain a better understanding of the beat, but she seems to latch on easily. Her voice is strong and soulful, but not overpowering when matched with the piano. Minx and her have done rehearsals together where they've done a capellas, so this doesn't seem all that different to her.

Her voice lowers into a low, husky guttural sound that seems like only she can hit it and make it go well with the song: ]

Hello, hello, hello, how low?

[ But when it rears back, her voice is as strong as ever. It seems less like angry singing while more suited to singing an anthem for an ambassador or at a special performance. She fumbles a bit over the words at first, but it doesn't seem to stop her as she properly smoothes it out along with Sonia's piano playing. The small reminder of percussion helps keep her in check. ]

I'm worse at what I do best and for this gift I feel blessed. Our little group has always been... and always will until the end!

[ It is fairly obvious she is relating to this to her band now which seems to match well with how much energy she is putting forth in her singing. ]

[There does seem to be something on the floor of the wine cellar.]

[ Sonia could not be more delighted with Rapture's rendition. It is a song meant to be sung with great spirit and power, and it is a real honor to hear it sung properly. She begins playing more fervently and energetically in response. ]

[Altman's room is dark; the lights are turned off and there's a stillness in the room. It's overall a fairly neat room, aside from the desk, which is covered in loose paper as well as Altman's notebook. There are also crumpled up pieces of paper on the floor near the desk. Otherwise, the room is clean, the wardrobe organized, besides some dark stains worn into the carpet near the door.

The bed is unmade, which may stand in contrast to the neatness of the room, but empty. The smell of vomit and urine hangs in the air. The bed itself is empty, but Altman is lying on the ground, near the bed but between the bed and the doorway, on his side.]
