So they probably didn't use either the bleach or rubbing alcohol in the room, and the bench isn't exactly a great hiding place.

Which brings up two questions - why did they have to bring the entire box into the room when they didn't need to use all of the stuff inside? And if they didn't want anyone to find it, then why pick such an obvious hiding place?
