This post will cover the weekend period from the end of trial Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, when new incentives will be announced. No murders will take place over this time.

[ Am I going to NPC a horse?

Yes. I'm NPCing a horse.

Lithium seems bored in her stall, and she perks up when she hears someone walk in. ]

[You are a true NPC hero.]

Hiiiii Lithium~! [Poland waves, cheerfully approaching.]

I like. Brought you some treats and junk, don't tell Sonia. [Because Gundam's not the only one who carries around delicious snacks apparently.]

[ Treats. Yessss. Lithium is already nosing her way over the latch, leaning her head out to study Poland hopefully. Either she wants the treats or to be freed from the stall or both. ]

You want out? I like, totally don't blame you I'm exactly the same after a trial. [Poland will oblige her with a carrot...

before hesitantly looking around for any possible witnesses to him borrowing a princess' horse without asking. Once he's satisfied he's clear, he'll let Lithium out.]

[ In a brilliant show of multitasking, Lithium will both eat the carrot and trot haughtily out of the stall at the same time. But she's well-trained, and she doesn't make a break for it; she seems satisfied enough to be out, and just stands there staring at Poland, either awaiting instructions or more treats. ]

The grounds are kind of small but I don't mind taking you out if you reallllly want to go.

[Poland pets her enthusiastically, offering her more carrots.]

Eat this carrot if you totally want to go for a ride.

[ The carrot is eaten. Yes, let's go. ]

[Poland doesn't bother tacking up before he climbs on. He's ridden bareback billions of times in the past. Besides, he's pretty sure whatever saddles are kicking around the stables are probably old and crappy anyways.

Lithium is too pretty for such an injustice.]

Let's go!

[ Lithium is used to wearing lots of very ridiculous equipment and seems surprised not to be put through the process, but she doesn't need much more prodding to go. She trots out of the stable and then stands at the exit, waiting for a direction to go. ]

[Poland nudges Lithium in the direction of the chapel, letting her go at he own pace initially before gradually trying to build up her speed.

As a nation, a month and a half wasn't a long time in the grand scheme of his life. Not even an eye blink. But as an equestrian, not being able to ride has been devastating in its own way.]

[ She'll pick up on however Poland commands her; she's pretty smart, even if she's spoiled. Even the unfamiliar terrain of the grounds seems to be no issue for her. ]

[Poland laughs, relishing in just getting to ride again.]

I don't know why Sonia babies you so much you're like, totally capable.

[... but eventually going around in circles on the grounds starts to lose it's charm and Poland makes Lithium stop. He doesn't allow himself to be sad. Every now and then a crack in the facade occurred, but for the most part he's tried very hard to appear cheerful.

The feelings creep up on him staring at the iron bars. It's been almost two months since he first arrived here and he's no closer to leaving.]

... it's not fair you're stuck here now though. I hope we both get to go home.

[ Lithium shifts on her hooves before the gate, snorting restlessly; it seems that she has some impression of the trapped atmosphere around the manor. She gives her head a brisk shake, as if agreeing with him. ]
