but yes grabbing a few handkerchiefs and coming over to take a look at the clothing. Kaoru will be delicately holding them up and turning them around using the handkerchiefs as a buffer between hand and cloth, looking for any part that might be cut, burnt, missing, etc.]

[The clothes are men's clothing, fairly standard and large, covered in blood. They are mostly intact and not ripped. There is some dark brown substance on the left shoulder that looks like soil. There is also a small burn mark on the right sleeve cuff.]

since there's so much blood, Kaoru won't bother trying to see if the substance can be more closely identified through touch or smell. after noting the burn mark, Kaoru will check the left cuff as well, just in case. if there are any pockets, the edges will be lifted up so Kaoru can stick a handkerchief-covered hand inside just in case the killer actually left a key behind or something.]
