But are they allowed to place a claim on two targets simultaneously? The 'extra incentive' this week wasn't clear on that point - it seemed as if choosing a target on that list superceded the normal rules of the murders. Would declaring an intent to kill both Belarus and Mr. Altman simultaneously grant them both prizes for a deadweight crime and a dispensable crime and the extra incentive?
...For that matter, would declaring an intention to kill two deadweights net you four prizes simultaneously?
In any case, if both crimes were intentional, why was Mr. Altman's body left alone for us to easily identify poison while Belarus's was dealt with in the manner we saw?
[A shrug.] We could always ask the hostess. I don't see why prizes wouldn't stack though - this is supposed to be a show, right? It's probably more entertaining for them this way, plus they get to get rid of two people they don't want around anymore for whatever reason.
Maybe they just did it for shit and giggles. Or maybe they were hoping to distract us from something.
I don't think 'shits and giggles' is an adequate explanation. One crime is too simple and the other is too overdone. If they wanted a distraction, we'd have ended up with three hands in the foyer and we would all be too horrified to do much else.
Trust me, I was already too horrified to do much else, so it worked. Wasn't really focusing on the rest of the stuff in the kitchen after finding her head and her torso in there like it's Friday the Thirteenth up in here. They could be hiding another goddamn sword in there and I probably would have overlooked it.
There might also be something about Belarus's body and not Altman's that would be a clue towards our killer. We should -- someone should examine the parts in more detail. Someone who isn't me.
I wouldn't mind doing it, though someone will have to go with me. [He pauses.] We should bring in Mr. Altman's as well, so maybe more than two people will need to retrieve everything.
...Given that Lithuania has already kindly volunteered, I'll refrain from putting my own foot forward.
We should search for more similarities between the two, though - both have pink froth around their lips and blood in their mouth from biting on their tongues. Even if both were targeted, I think it possible still that Belarus's cause of death was poison as well.
Yeah, I don't think it's a coincidence that both of them share those similarities, and that they both had vomit in their rooms. I think you're right - Belarus must have been poisoned too, probably by the same thing Altman was.
And we know both of them were fond of drink. Belarus's room was filled with empty bottles of liquor, and I retrieved a flask from there as well. In contrast, Michael doesn't seem to have been drinking anything in his room before he died.
...I wonder if anyone has bothered to wash the cups in the bar yet.
If she had a flask, she might have been too paranoid to drink openly in the bar. Michael though...Sonia said she served him rum, so we know he's the type who'll accept drinks from other people.
Glass can hold fingerprints really well too. Uh...we found Belarus's hand with fingers attached, right?

We should examine his room while we're in there. We need to figure out if he was poisoned in his room or in public.

Perhaps we can save fingerprint examination for a last resort.
